Who Are We
AFRICAN WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP ORGANISATION (AWLO) is an international not-for-profit organization founded in 2009 for driving women’s leadership through gender parity, leadership effectiveness, and global development.

Our Solutions
AFRICAN WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE (AWLC)
AWLC mainly engages the women, to increase leadership participation, since effective strategies originate from women, through equipment for leadership positioning. It also engages decision makers to generate solutions, implement best practices, and build partnerships for women’s development.
AWLO LEADERSHIP TRAININGS
To provide limitless opportunities, credibility, and retention of women in leadership AWLO intensifies intellective and specialized leadership development through Trainings.
ILEAD
iLEAD Clubs for primary and secondary schools is introduced to pupils and students between ages 5 and 17 as part of the school curriculum to learn leadership through co-curricular activities, and positive actions.
NGFL FELLOWSHIP
The Next Generation Female Leaders fellowship provides a springboard for outstanding young female leaders through opportunities and mentorship.
HEFORSHE
AWLO encourages men around the world to be advocates with AWLO for the shared vision of gender parity through the implementation of specific locally relevant solutions for the good of all humanity
AWLO MEMBERSHIP
Our Chapters framework at the local level creates a bonding experience and fosters collaborations among members, permeates grassroots development and becomes members’ Leadership Experience. AWLO currently has 23 Chapters and Youth Councils in 12 Countries harnessing the proven framework of Partnerships for Personal and Community Development
