Founder End Hunger Humanitarian Initiative (EHHI)

Dr. Emem Aniekanabasi Alban is a passionate and accomplished global food security strategist, agribusiness entrepreneur, and humanitarian leader focused on ending hunger and encouraging balanced nutrition throughout Africa. Her career, grounded in sustainable agriculture, inclusive development, and social impact, spans contributions in agribusiness innovation, humanitarian efforts, and empowering women economically. Dr Alban, as Founder of the End Hunger Humanitarian Initiative (EHHI), leads impactful programmes aimed at reducing child malnutrition, improving nutrition for pregnant and lactating women, and empowering rural communities through agricultural entrepreneurship and vocational training. Under her leadership, EHHI has partnered with various organisations to combat poverty and promote food sustainability across Nigeria. Dr Alban’s entrepreneurial journey also includes co-founding Emani Farms Giant Ltd., a successful agricultural value chain enterprise that combines crop production, food processing, and market access solutions. She also established Smooches House of Gold Ventures, an offshore catering, hospitality and logistics firm. Her work embodies a rare blend of strategic business insight and compassionate service—qualities that continue to inspire global discussions on the future of food systems in Africa. She holds advanced degrees in Crop Science (M.Sc.) from the University of Uyo and an MBA in Agribusiness Management from the Rome Business School, as well as a Professional Doctorate in Humanitarian Entrepreneurship from the Roxbourg Institute of Social Entrepreneurship (RISE) in Switzerland. Her professional certifications include Global Supply Chain & Logistics, Hydroponics & Aquaponics, Project Management, and Global Leadership Development. A multiple Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International and a Platinum Fellow of the Institute of Leadership, Labour, Manpower and Development (ILLMD, UK), Dr Alban has received numerous awards for her leadership in social innovation and sustainable development. Beyond her professional pursuits, she advocates for education, mentorship, and community development—championing causes aligned with her life’s mission: “A nourished child today, a stronger nation tomorrow.
