Dr. Elisha Attai is a media, communications, and public relations practitioner and publisher.
A strong advocate for the development and advancement of African women, he is the President/Founder of the African Women in Leadership Organisation (AWLO) and the initiator/organizer of the famed African Women in Leadership Conference (AWLC), a global movement of Women of African descent changing the narratives of leadership in the world.
Elisha holds Master’s degrees in Public Administration and Music Technology with several years of experience in public relations, music management, and brand and business development /consultancy. He is the Managing Director/CEO of Studio 115 Integrated Services, a communication, media/Public Relations, and brand development consultancy services company, producing premium content for Mnet (Africa Magic) for years. Elisha Attai is the Executive Director of HDF Projects International, a leadership and human capacity development consultancy services company. Elisha’s proven track record in transforming brands for success has shown in the phenomenal growth and relevance of the African Women Leadership Conference over the last nine years.
Elisha’s philosophy of life sees the world as big enough for everyone and a life dedicated to giving through service and hard work. It is evident in his motto – #ILiveSoICanGive – and his adoption of the SDG Goals; 5-Gender Equality, 8-Decent Work and Economic Growth, 10-Reduced Inequalities among countries, 16-Peace, Justice and strong institutions and 17-Global Partnership for sustainable development.
An indigene of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, he is passionate about the development and advancement of his state and generously contributes his quota by applying his vast knowledge and experience in promoting the positive image of his state at home and abroad.
Elisha has a strong Christian ethic and immerses himself in many faith-based activities. He is also involved with several charitable organizations and is an active supporter and friend of LittleBigSouls, a charity for the care of premature babies born in Africa, and a Board member of the African Foundation for Premature Babies & Neonatal Care (AFPNC). He has professional associations with many organizations such as the Nigeria British Chamber of Commerce, the Nigerian American Chamber of Commerce, Pan African American Chamber of Commerce in Atlanta, the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), the Performing Musician Association of Nigeria (PMAN) and the South African Culture and Tourism Bureau just to mention a few.
He is a recipient of numerous awards globally. He was recently honored by the Global Oved Dei Seminary & University in the United States with an Honorary Doctorate Degree for his commitment to gender parity. The United Nations Women National Committee Canada honored him as their Ambassador for his contribution to gender equality and women empowerment over the years. The prestigious Lifetime Presidential Achievement Award from President Joe Biden! This incredible honor recognizes his unwavering commitment to gender equality, leadership, and advancing women’s welfare across Africa, the USA, and the Diaspora.
